Tim and his wife, Lisa, along with their son, Elias, were longtime residents of Madisonville before recently relocating to Maryville, TN. Despite the move, Tim and his family remain deeply committed to serving the Madisonville community.
Originally from Augusta, GA, Tim’s faith journey began at age eleven when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a church summer camp. He completed his early education at One Way Christian School in Augusta before earning a Bachelor of Science in Ministry from Johnson University. He went on to further his biblical education, graduating from Liberty Theological Seminary.
Outside of his ministry, Tim enjoys playing golf and spending quality time with his family.
While not originally from Madisonville, Kim—affectionately known by our church family as "Kim2"—is a lifelong Tennessean.
With a career spanning two decades in early childhood education, Kim brings a wealth of experience, boundless joy, and innovative creativity to her role overseeing our Children and Student Ministries. Her extensive background equips her to craft engaging, meaningful programs that nurture both the spiritual and personal growth of our youth.
When she is not actively planning or leading our church's student initiatives, Kim continues to invest in the next generation through her work as a children’s librarian. Embracing her calling to guide and mentor youth, she states, "God just keeps giving me the children."
Grant and his wife, Faith, relocated to Madisonville in the fall of 2023 with their three children, having previously resided in Eastern Washington and Texas. They are delighted to now call East Tennessee home.
Growing up as a pastor's son, Grant has a lifelong foundation in the church. After dedicating his life to Christ at the age of eleven, he began his ministry journey at sixteen co-leading worship alongside his father. This early involvement cultivated his passion for music and congregational leadership.
Grant furthered his ministry preparation by studying biblical theology, history, and philosophy at the Moody Bible Institute. In his free time, he enjoys playing music and sports and spending time with his family.
